Shareable Waifu Cards!

Via the new changing room, you can now easily save, load, import, and export waifu cards! These cards are a small image file with all the data for your custom waifu embedded in the image itself so sharing them is incredibly easy. Head over to the new discussion board to share yours and to download a few that have been shared by others!

Photo Shoot Mode - Available Now

With a full suite of waifu and outfit customization options available, Photo Shoot mode allows you to easily take photos using a variety of poses and aspect ratios. Complete with several options for lighting, two backdrop colors, and a full-featured image gallery. All clothing, skin, accessory, and other options are available in this mode.

Playlist Mode - Available Now

Playlist mode allows you to completely customize a waifu for a private dance show. You can use either the included playlist or mute the music and watch them dance along to your preferred playlist. All clothing, skin, accessory, and other options are available in this mode.

Sandbox Mode - Coming Soon

Sandbox mode provides the player with a first person controller and a long list of ways to interact with waifus and the environment. Use the provided phone to check social media, text waifus, take pictures, and more! I'm currently hard at work getting this mode prepped for release and expect to make it available in the coming months.

Story Mode - Future Update

Story mode will be the final mode added to the game, which will leverage all of the elements available in sandbox mode to immerse the player in a multi-faced narrative. More details on story mode will be made available in the near-future.


Early Access Information

I work full-time as a freelance game developer. As a result, my schedule is pretty flexible in that I have complete autonomy over when I work. Waifu Island is available while in development for one reason: the more copies I sell now, the more time I can take off of work to devote to this project. The game will be released regardless; I've spent a lot of my free time (nights & weekends) getting things this far and am committed to completing the project in the same fashion should that be necessary. Your early access purchase is greatly appreciated, and if enough people do the same, I can work on this project full-time rather than freelancing, resulting in the final release being available long before current plans would allow.

The game is $10 off while I finish up work on sandbox mode. At that time the discount will be lowered to $5 off until story mode is made available. Anybody that purchases the game at a discounted price will have access to every single feature of the game regardless of when the purchase was made.
