This is coming later than I had expected due to the fact that the YouTube plugin I use for Playlist mode needed an update and there were quite a few changes that needed to be made to my code in order to get it working again. If you have tried Playlist mode recently and it didn't work, this latest patch fixes that issue and your waifu should be back to dancing to your playlists as expected.

This devlog is the second that focuses on the new additions to the upcoming Sandbox mode. I have been hard at work putting together a dungeon in the basement of the house in this scene that includes stockades, sex machines, and more. These new features also tie into the addition of some updates to the waifus themselves, and you can see from the video below that they now have meters that display two things: how close to orgasm they are and how excited you've gotten them. The latter of these directly controls drip particle effects, so once you have gotten them to a certain point of arousal they will start with pleasure and also spray a bit every time the toy reaches the point of insertion. The former of these controls how close to orgasm they are, and if you have them dripping with pleasure when they reach climax, they will squirt.

The sex machines all have various UI elements to control them, including whether the toys should vibrate and the speed at which they thrust. I have also added a strange looking attachment that will be used for simulating creampies that will tie directly into the particle effects features in the last devlog. I still have some work left to do on all of this but I'm happy with how things have turned out so far and am looking forward to tying everything together, including leveraging the facial expressions that I have my disposal as well as implementing some basic animations so the waifu responds appropriately.

As I've stated in past devlogs, Sandbox mode is basically just a testing ground for me to work in and a way for players to have free range to play around with anything they've unlocked. In Story mode, these interactions will be much more intimate and tie into the story, and the player will need to unlock the ability to use these items by purchasing them with cash they earn. For example, you'll be able to purchase a sex machine with a single (smaller) toy attached at first, and then later be able to purchase new toys to attach to it, the creampie attachment, and more. This should add a sense of progress to Story mode and also make each session feel fairly unique.

The next step will be to start working on a second location, likely a strip club that will have private rooms that the player can rent. I also want to start putting time into Story mode progression - things like cash, finishing up work on the cell phone, etc. - just to make sure that everything is going to come together as I'd hoped before I finally release Sandbox mode to everyone that's purchased the game. I want to avoid a situation in which I've made features available but later have to remove them because things didn't tie into Story mode as I'd hoped, so to prevent that I will be making absolutely sure that everything will work going forward before Sandbox mode is made public.

As you can see, there's been a lot added to Sandbox mode in recent months and it is reaching the point where it can be made available, I really just need to get some breathing room with my day job to sit down and focus on tying everything together before it's ready. Unfortunately, this recent setback with the YouTube plugin has pushed things back in a way that I had not anticipated, but with that issue finally taken care of and things mostly wrapped up with props, sex machines, and particle effects, I can really start to leverage all of these new features when it comes to the creation of the strip club. The club will tie into the cell phone since that is how the player will move from one location to the next, so I'll be spending my weekend making progress in those areas; once I have tested all of this and ensured that Story mode can and will function the way that I have planned, there won't be much more work involved to at least get a rough alpha version of Sandbox mode published so you can all give it a try.
