Waifu Island is my work-in-progress VN/RPG hybrid. I've worked as a freelance Unity developer for well over a decade now and began working on this project during the COVID quarantine. My focus up to this point has been almost entirely on the waifus themselves, ensuring I had everything required in the area of customizing these characters easily before I begin expanding on the sandbox mode (currently in its infancy). With the current build you'll be able to get a good idea of the options available for the female characters and you'll have full control over skin tones, hair style, outfits, as well as a short list of animations that can be played with the click of a button.

I already have a first person controller in place as well as preliminary work completed on a dialogue system, so I'll be working on tying all of these features together before making sandbox mode public. I'll continue to expand on this mode for the near-future, making sure I have as much done as needed before I dive into story mode and focus on the narrative.

After careful consideration, I opted for a one-time purchase for the project rather than the traditional course of using Patreon to fund development. What that means for you is that you only need to purchase the game once and you'll have instant access to the current and any future updates, and I'll be keeping everyone up to date with devlogs along the way.

I hope to bring my love of all things anime and adult gaming to the table here,  and I bring over 10 year's of game development experience to the project, so although I may be working solo, you can expect frequent updates as well as detailed lists of both known bugs and upcoming features every step of the way.
