Multiple Positions Available


I've been making a lot of progress in the upcoming sandbox mode and wanted to share some of the results. The props and poses system has come together really well, and although most of the examples below are not set up to work with manual thrust controls yet, I don't expect to run into much trouble getting that implemented.



All of these animations are essentially first drafts, and I'll be going through and adding a lot of polish after sandbox mode is made public. Right now my goal is to get a good foundation in place so it can be included in future releases, after which I will focus on cleaning everything up and adding new additions to make things a bit more realistic. Even though these are a rough draft configuration, I'm very happy with how things are turning out and also glad that I decided to use a top-down camera for this work since it is really speeding up the testing process as I progress.



Those of you that have been keeping up with devlog posts will probably notice that quite a few props have been added as well. I'm making good use of the stylized asset packages I have available to me for quick prototyping and I expect that once I update the game to the new shader, the visuals for these props will be improved quite a bit alongside the waifus themselves. To name just a few, I've added pool floats, deck chairs, a photo shoot set up, a stripper pole, a hot tub, and more.



I've still got my work cut out for me but I continue to make progress in my spare time, slowly making my way towards the day that you can all download the latest update and finally have access to sandbox mode. There will be quite a few options available when it first releases, but as I make progress on story mode following this update, these options will only be available by making progress in the main story. By making them available at first, I hope to be more easily identify potential problems so that I can ensure that story progression is as smooth as silk, allowing me to focus on the parts that will set it apart from all other modes.



Last but not least, I've added a player panel to the lower left area of the screen which includes several status meters. These meters will indicate status values of lust, hygiene, food, and fun (subject to change) and will serve as some obstacles to story mode progression. The icon also serves as a quick way to center the screen on the player without having to pan the camera around the scene, and there are also some dev toggles in place for adding/removing player clothing and controlling their erection. These toggles will likely be replaced and/or removed before in the future but served as a quick way to test things out during development.



Next on my to-do list is to clean up the rigging for each hairstyle, which is currently the only thing preventing me from releasing playlist mode. I expect to be done with this by next weekend the latest (depending on my freelance schedule) and will be sure to share a devlog to let everyone know it is available. This bonus mode will hopefully help hold everyone over while I keep pushing forward with the sandbox. Until next time!
